Human Nature (Gandang Kalikasan, Inc.) is hiring a Senior Software QA Engineer to oversee all stages of the SDLC (excluding programming) and coordinate between requestors, users, and developers to ensure timely delivery. The role includes guiding Junior QA Engineers and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 3+ years in software testing, data gathering, and documentation, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Proficient in software testing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in gathering requirements and documenting flows.
• Knowledge of SDLC processes and best practices.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all stages of the SDLC excluding programming; act as traffic controller between requestors, users and developers.
• Coordinate projects and ensure timely delivery with IT team members.
• Provide guidance and support to Junior QA Engineers to meet quality objectives.
• Document user and developer guidelines and manuals; prepare training materials.
• Support system rollout, implementation, acceptance, and post‑evaluation activities.

We are looking to hire a Senior Software QA Engineer to oversee all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), excluding programming. The role will involve managing projects and serving as a key point of coordination or “traffic controller”, between requestors, users, and developers to ensure smooth communication and timely delivery.

The Senior Software QA Engineer will also oversee projects and manage the tasks and responsibilities of Junior QA Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure quality standards and project objectives are met.

He/She will strictly follow the SDLC Methodology except for the programming part, as follows:

1. Data Gathering & Technical Discussions with Requestors or Project managers, as well as with IT Developers and Technical support when needed
2. Systems Analysis & Design
3. Mock‑up & Presentation
4. Gantt Chart
5. Case build‑up and preparation
6. Software Testing
7. Presentation to requestors
8. Documentation for user and developer guidelines and manuals
9. User Training
10. System roll‑out, implementation, and Acceptance
11. System support with Developers and Technical support
12. System Post Evaluation

All of these in collaboration with IT Developers and the Head of IT.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Has to have 3 or more years of experience in:
  • Software testing
  • Data Gathering
  • Documentation, including flowcharting
• Has up-to-date working knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
• Well versed in Software Development Cycle
• SQL scripting or any programming knowledge is an advantage.

• Good communication in English, both written and verbal
• Possesses a high level of integrity
• Willing to work onsite in our Head Office in Quezon City or our office in Paseo de Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
