The Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality, scalable software systems that support business growth. This role involves working across the full technology stack—including front-end, back-end, APIs, and databases—to deliver reliable and secure features for internal and external users. The position requires strong collaboration with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership to deliver high-quality features, improve platform reliability, and maintain modern software systems that support our growing business. The engineer will also contribute to technical standards, developer tooling, and continuous improvement efforts across the engineering organization.

Essential Functions:

Design and build modern eCommerce services as part of a scalable, secure, and AI-driven platform.

Develop front-end interfaces using React or similar frameworks, ensuring accessibility, responsiveness, and high performance.

Implement and maintain APIs and services (REST/GraphQL), data models, and background workers with robust error handling.

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices with scalability, maintainability, and reliability in mind.

Design and optimize SQL and NoSQL database schemas, queries, and performance.

Own the entire software delivery lifecycle, including technical design, coding, code review, automated testing, deployment, and documentation.

Quality, Security & Reliability

Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code (unit, integration, end-to-end) aligned with engineering standards.

Instrument applications with metrics, logs, and traces; contribute to effective alerting, dashboards, and runbooks.

Design with security and privacy in mind (input validation, authN/authZ, performance budgets).

Participate in an on-call rotation and lead post-incident reviews to implement sustainable improvements.

Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders; communicate tradeoffs, risks, and timelines with clarity.

Essential Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.

Experience Required:

Minimum of 5 years of professional software engineering experience, including ownership of production systems.

Hands-on experience with Node.js, React, and TypeScript, including component architecture, state management, data-fetching patterns, forms, accessibility, profiling, and testing (e.g., React Testing Library, Playwright).

Experience designing and implementing APIs, asynchronous patterns, and scalable back-end services.

Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL database design, migrations, and performance optimization.

Demonstrated ability to ship reliable, observable, maintainable software and collaborate with Product and Design teams.
