Job summary

HRTX is hiring a mid-level Software Engineer to build enterprise-grade web tools, product registries, and documentation APIs. You will work with senior engineers to develop asynchronous Python services, React interfaces, and third-party SaaS connectors.

You will implement REST APIs with FastAPI, design Pydantic models, and help maintain tests, docs, and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps. A hybrid work setup applies with on-site days in Mandaluyong.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on software development with Python and React in production.
• Solid background in REST API development with FastAPI (endpoints, Pydantic, HTTP patterns, JWT/auth).
• Proficient in React (ES6+, Hooks, state management) and relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

Responsibilities

• Build Python web services using FastAPI with robust validation and docs.
• Create modular React UI components and integrate REST APIs.
• Write optimized SQL queries and manage schema/data migrations.

Role Description

We are seeking a mid-level Software Engineer to build enterprise-grade web tools, product registry platforms, and documentation APIs. Working alongside senior engineering leads, you will develop asynchronous Python services, construct interactive React interfaces, and manage third-party SaaS API connectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Application & API Development: Build high-performing Python web services using FastAPI; design Pydantic models, define RESTful endpoints, and manage request/response validation logic.

• Front-End Interfaces: Construct modular React.js UI components utilizing modern state management (Context API/Redux) and responsive layout design.

• Database Operations: Write optimized PostgreSQL/MySQL queries, support schema maintenance, and handle data migration tasks for platform databases.

• Third-Party Platform Integrations: Connect external SaaS platforms and documentation systems (such as Zoomin) via REST APIs, managing payload transformations and publishing flows.

• SDLC & Quality Standards: Write clean, reusable code, maintain API endpoint documentation, write test cases, and participate in peer code reviews.

• System Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot production issues across full-stack layers (Python, PostgreSQL, React) and conduct root-cause analyses for escalations.

• Agile Execution: Collaborate with Product Owners, Analysts, and QA teams to deploy quality features via Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.

Core Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience with Python and React in production setups

• Solid background in REST API development with FastAPI (endpoints, Pydantic, HTTP patterns, JWT/API key auth)

• Practical React proficiency (ES6+, Hooks, state management, REST API integration)

• Working knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL query execution and schema structures)

• Familiarity with Git version control, Azure DevOps, and Agile sprint workflows

• Strong English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to third-party documentation tools or SaaS APIs (Zoomin, Paligo)

• Familiarity with product asset management or PIM systems

• Background in Python async task queuing (FastAPI Background Tasks, Celery)

• Automated testing experience (PyTest, Jest, React Testing Library)

• Basic familiarity with Docker containerized environments
