Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Sr. Engineer ServiceNow Platform Technical Lead (P4) to act as the senior technical authority for the ServiceNow platform.

You will guide architecture, governance, and upgrade strategies, partnering with product and CoE to deliver scalable, reliable solutions that meet business outcomes. You will lead architecture reviews, drive guardrails, mentor developers, and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years in enterprise software/solutions.
• 5+ years hands‑on ServiceNow administration/development.
• 5+ years in large IT orgs.
• Proven track record leading complex platform initiatives across ITSM and integrations.
• Demonstrated leadership of code reviews, ATF regression testing, and CI/CD with Git.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day technical guidance to developers and admins; mentor teams and drive best practices.
• Own solution architecture and technical specs for new products/features and integrations.
• Co‑define and govern platform roadmap, release calendar, and upgrade strategies.
• Embed CI/CD, code quality checks, and automated testing in delivery cycles.
• Partner with CMDB/CMDB owners to align services to data models and standards.
• Lead upgrades, patches, and incident response as the primary technical contact.
• Manage internal stakeholders and external partners with technically grounded guidance.
