Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Technician IV-Equipment in the Philippines to lead installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in wafer-level packaging.

You will ensure maximum uptime, process stability, and safety & quality compliance, while guiding junior technicians. The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or related field and willingness to work a 12-hour night shift, with

Must have degree/diploma in related field.
Experience with semiconductor equipment is preferred.
Willing to work 12-hr night shift.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on WLCSP equipment (lithography tools, grinders, bonders, molders, plasma cleaners, testers).
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
Minimize downtime via rapid root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate equipment logs and maintenance records.
