Job summary

Offsure is seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to provide technical leadership across alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems. You will manage incidents and projects, troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and support installations and commissioning at client sites.

Responsibilities include guiding field engineers, maintaining documentation, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. A strong technical background and customer-focused approach are essential for success.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in technical engineering or security systems.
Hands-on experience with alarm, access control and CCTV systems.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, install, configure and commission systems.
Strong understanding of security tech and related networks.
Experience with multiple listed systems (Integriti, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, Hanwha, Allied Telesis, Cisco SMB, Ubiquiti).
Solid knowledge of Microsoft products, Windows OS, Excel and server environments.

Responsibilities

Manage and prioritize technical incident and project queues.
Lead troubleshooting of hardware, software, networking, and operational issues in security systems.
Provide guidance to field engineers and junior team members.
Support installation, configuration, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
Attend client sites for onsite assessments, troubleshooting, installations, and commissioning.
Liaise with stakeholders, customers, suppliers, and technical teams to resolve issues.
Investigate recurring issues and recommend improvements for reliability.
Maintain technical documentation, service reports, and compliance records.
Assist with evaluation, testing, and integration of new technologies.
Mentor and support team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
