Job summary

Google Operations Center seeks a security and resilience senior associate to provide close support to the security team. The role focuses on intake and triage of complaints and escalations related to security issues, including leaks of IP and data outside the corporate environment.

You will document and coordinate information, conduct investigations, and write comprehensive reports to ensure compliance and timely resolution within established SLOs.

Qualifications

• Collect, organize, and analyze data from CCTV footage using security tools.
• Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences; write clear reports.
• Analyze data to identify threats and communicate findings succinctly.
• Think critically, solve problems quickly, and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with others to resolve security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge, handle, and review incidents and events.
• Document, respond to, and coordinate information with the concerned party.
• Conduct investigations using available tools.
• Write accurate reports for investigations.
• Ensure SLOs for response and resolution are met.
• Ensure compliance with information security and data protection guidelines.
• Detect and escalate issues in a timely manner.
