Job summary

Yondu, Inc. is seeking a Senior Google Security General role to engineer, integrate, and optimize Google SecOps (Chronicle) and related platforms. You will focus on SIEM, SOAR, log management, detection engineering, and security automation rather than routine SOC tasks.

You will collaborate with SOC teams, engineers, customers, and stakeholders to design scalable monitoring, automation, and response capabilities, ensuring data quality and reliable detections across environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Security Operations or security engineering.
• Hands-on experience with Google SecOps / Chronicle.
• Experience onboarding and integrating multiple log sources into SIEM/SOAR.
• Experience developing, tuning, and maintaining detections and monitoring use cases.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and optimize Google SecOps (Chronicle).
• Configure log ingestion, analytics, correlation, and monitoring.
• Onboard log sources and ensure data quality and coverage.
• Develop and tune detections, rules, and monitoring content.
• Configure and optimize SOAR playbooks, workflows, and automations.
• Integrate SIEM/SOAR with APIs, Syslog, cloud services, and enterprise tech.
• Provide technical guidance to SOC analysts and customers.
