Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of work experience in the maritime industry as Buyer or Senior Buyer.
• 5+ years relevant work experience as a Buyer or Senior Buyer if holding an IVE or Diploma.
• Previous experience of people management strongly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of Buyers/Senior Buyers, providing daily support.
• Manage timely invoice clearance and prepayment remittances.
• Lead the training of buyers and senior buyers on procurement systems.

Proficient in Microsoft office applications

Fluent in written and spoken English

Supervisory skills

Strong team player

Willingness to learn new IT systems

Education

Degree holder of any faculty

IVE or Diploma of any faculty
