Job summary

Okta is seeking a Senior Business Applications Administrator to anchor operational health of its Salesforce ecosystem and interconnected business apps. You will support GTM functions, ensure data integrity, and drive automated workflows using AI tools to elevate incident triage and system reliability.

You will lead configuration, security controls, and release management, while collaborating with global teams and leveraging Gearset, ServiceNow, and Jira Service Management.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in business systems administration or tech app support in enterprise environments.
• Strong Salesforce Sales Cloud admin skills (configuration, Flows, permissioning, data loader, reporting).
• Experience with modern enterprise SaaS stacks, ITSM tools (ServiceNow or Jira Service Management), and Gearset.
• Solid understanding of governance, audit and SOX compliance.
• Proven ability to collaborate across time zones with cross-functional teams.
• Clear communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support and incident management for Salesforce ecosystem and connected apps.
• Leverage AI platforms (Gemini, Claude, internal tools) to accelerate root-cause analysis and automate workflows.
• Support go-to-market functions, ensuring data integrity and peak user productivity.
• Mentor frontline admins and serve as escalation point for operational excellence.
• Manage configuration, security, automation, and integration health across the ecosystem.
• Ensure governance, audit readiness, and create SOPs/runbooks for global teams.
