Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Road Engineer to join our Roads Delivery team in the Philippines. You will deliver geometric road designs, provide technical guidance, and lead project teams on major road and transport infrastructure projects.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and 10+ years’ experience, with strong design principles, international standards, and experience with 12d/OpenRoads. A hybrid work model is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience in road and transport infrastructure engineering.
• Strong understanding of road design principles and international road design standards.
• Australian design experience is highly regarded.
• Other international civil engineering project experience will also be highly regarded.
• Experience in a consulting, engineering, or infrastructure delivery environment.
• Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver geometric road designs and associated infrastructure, including intersections, roundabouts, car parks, active transport facilities, earthworks, access roads, and other related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and support to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform engineering calculations, assessments and prepare technical reports.
• Engage effectively with clients and project teams.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, project requirements, and industry best practices.

We are looking for Senior Road Engineers to join our Roads Delivery team to help deliver quality design models, drawings, reports, and calculations for a wide range of projects. Working with established standards and procedures, you’ll bring sound judgement, technical curiosity and a collaborative mindset to help shape practical drainage solutions.

Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Perform road engineering duties, including but not limited to:


• Develop and deliver geometric road designs and associated infrastructure, including intersections, roundabouts, car parks, active transport facilities, earthworks, access roads, and other related infrastructure.

What you will bring to the team:
