Job summary

GHD is seeking an experienced Lead Civil Engineer to drive the planning, design, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects. You will mentor engineers, lead design reviews, and manage multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders across local and global settings.

The role emphasizes technical leadership, client engagement, and continuous improvement within a hybrid work model, with offices in Makati, Quezon City, or Cebu. Ten-plus years in civil infrastructure is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in civil infrastructure projects with design delivery, project leadership, and technical oversight.
• Strong design background across Transport, Land Development, Water, Energy, Dams and Tailings.
• Experience leading design reviews and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and collaborate with global teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex civil infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, technical standards, and project objectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and designers, fostering technical excellence and capability development across the team.
• Manage and oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget objectives are achieved.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Lead project and contract activities, including design coordination, client liaison, and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering design processes, digital delivery, and project execution methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Support business development activities through proposals, tenders, technical submissions, and client relationship management.

What You Will Bring To The Team

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects, with demonstrated experience in design delivery, project leadership, and technical oversight.
• Strong civil engineering design background across infrastructure sectors including Transport, Land Development, Water, Energy, Dams and Tailings.
• Demonstrated experience in leading design reviews, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle.
• Strong client relationship and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across local and global teams.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers and designers while contributing to team growth and capability building.
