Job summary

GHD is seeking a Surface Water Engineer in the Philippines to support the Water Group. You will engage in hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, drainage and surface water projects, and contribute to project bids.

The role offers a hybrid work model with in-office collaboration three days a week and offices in Makati, Quezon City, or Cebu, depending on base. Seniority welcomed with mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, Drainage Design, and Civil 3D or 12d.
• Familiarity with basic programming or scripting is advantageous.
• Experience with TUFLOW is highly desirable.
• Experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modelling, drainage, stormwater, and surface water projects.
• Open to senior-level candidates with project ownership and mentoring experience.

• Working on a broad range of civil infrastructure projects, including dams, weirs, fishways, stormwater drainage, linear infrastructure, and mine water management schemes.
• Contributing to business development activities and project bids.
• Work with a project team to deliver the work and studies.
• Perform project management tasks and coordination with other groups when involved with multi-disciplinary projects.
