Job summary

GHD is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure team in the Philippines. You will provide technical leadership across projects, mentor multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to successful delivery from planning to handover.

The role involves leading design reviews, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting tender and proposal activities. Hybrid work model with office options in Makati, Quezon City, or Cebu.

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civil Infrastructure business group. In this role, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality infrastructure projects across a range of sectors, providing technical leadership, engineering expertise, guidance to multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle, and mentorship.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, technical standards, and project objectives.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, calculations, reports, and specifications for Dams & Tailings, Energy & Industrial, and Land Development sectors.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Support and mentor junior engineers and team members, helping to build technical capability across the team.
• Contribute to project proposals, tenders, methodologies, and technical submissions as required.

What You Will Bring To The Team

• 10+ years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure projects, with demonstrated experience in design delivery and technical leadership.
• Strong civil engineering design background across Dams & Tailings, Energy & Industrial, and Land Development sectors
• Experience in leading design reviews, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing technical oversight.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across local and global teams.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and support junior engineers and contribute to team development.
• Proactive, quality-focused, and solutions-oriented approach to project delivery.
• Experience in proposals, tenders, and work-winning activities is an advantage.
