Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, compliance, fraud management, or financial operations.
• Preferably with experience in pawnshop, lending, financing, banking, or other financial services.
• Experience in branch operations, operational risk, fraud investigation, and internal controls is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of risk assessment and control processes.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Willing to conduct branch visits and operational reviews when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor risk management activities across pawnshop branches and operations.
• Identify and assess operational, financial, fraud, credit, compliance, and business risks.
• Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies, controls, and preventive measures.
• Review branch processes and identify control weaknesses, operational gaps, and potential risks.
• Monitor incidents, fraud cases, losses, and unusual transactions and recommend appropriate action.
• Conduct risk assessments and operational reviews of branches and support units.
• Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, and other departments on risk-related concerns.
• Maintain and analyze risk registers, incident reports, loss data, and risk monitoring reports.
• Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and internal controls based on identified risks.
• Ensure timely investigation, documentation, escalation, and resolution of significant risk incidents.
• Prepare regular risk reports and management updates.
• Supervise and guide team members involved in risk monitoring and control activities.
• Ensure risk management practices are aligned with company policies and applicable pawnshop regulations.
