Job summary

HR Primo Management Services is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance for a pawnshop business. You will oversee compliance policies, reporting, AML/CFT controls, and privacy coordination across branches.

You will coordinate BSP examinations and regulatory inquiries, implement training, and ensure timely submissions while strengthening internal controls and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/Law or related field.
• 5+ years in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs.
• Experience with BSP examinations, AMLC reporting, regulatory correspondence.
• Experience handling customer complaints and regulatory reporting of complaints data.
• Strong knowledge of BSP regs for pawnshops and AMLA/CFT obligations.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting, Data Privacy Act, and consumer protection rules.
• Investigative, analytical, and report-writing skills; strong judgment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and compliance monitoring tools.
• Certifications in compliance or data privacy are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation, and monitoring of compliance system.
• Ensure BSP/AMLC/SEC/NPC/regulatory adherence and reporting.
• Review pawnshop policies, records, fees, and auctions for compliance.
• Maintain compliance calendar; manage licensing and branch registrations.
• Handle BSP examinations and regulatory inquiries with corrective actions.
• Oversee AML/CTF/CDP controls, customer due diligence, risk profiling.
• File CTR/SAR with AMLC; coordinate SEC reportorial requirements.
• Work with Data Protection Officer on privacy assessments and data sharing.
• Manage customer complaints from receipt to closure; trend reporting.
• Prepare compliance dashboards for management and Board.
