Job summary

HR Primo Management Services is seeking an Area Operations Manager to oversee multiple pawnshop branches across the region. The role focuses on improving branch performance, enforcing compliance, and driving operational targets through strong leadership and coaching of branch teams.

You will conduct branch visits, analyze performance data, and coordinate with head office to resolve issues while maintaining service quality and consistency across all locations. Travel to branches is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in branch operations, retail finance, or pawnshop services.
• Prior supervisory experience in multi-branch management is required.
• Experience in pawnshop, retail banking, or financial services industry is an advantage.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with ability to coach and develop staff.
• Knowledge of operational controls, cash handling, and compliance standards.
• Training in operations management, compliance, or leadership is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel regularly to assigned branches.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily operations of assigned pawnshop branches.
• Ensure achievement of operational targets across lending, appraisal, redemption, and sales activities.
• Conduct regular branch visits and performance evaluations.
• Enforce company policies, internal controls, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify operational issues and implement corrective action plans.
• Provide coaching and support to branch supervisors and staff.
• Analyze branch performance reports and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with head office departments for operational support and concerns.
• Support training initiatives and capability development of branch personnel.
• Maintain service quality and operational consistency across all branches.
