The Risk Management Supervisor is responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, and mitigating operational, financial, compliance, and fraud-related risks across pawnshop branches and business operations. The role ensures that appropriate risk controls are implemented and maintained to protect company assets, minimize losses, and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Supervise and monitor risk management activities across pawnshop branches and operations.
Identify and assess operational, financial, fraud, credit, compliance, and business risks.
Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies, controls, and preventive measures.
Review branch processes and identify control weaknesses, operational gaps, and potential risks.
Monitor incidents, fraud cases, losses, and unusual transactions and recommend appropriate action.
Conduct risk assessments and operational reviews of branches and support units.
Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Internal Audit, Finance, and other departments on risk-related concerns.
Maintain and analyze risk registers, incident reports, loss data, and risk monitoring reports.
Recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and internal controls based on identified risks.
Ensure timely investigation, documentation, escalation, and resolution of significant risk incidents.
Prepare regular risk reports and management updates.
Supervise and guide team members involved in risk monitoring and control activities.
Ensure risk management practices are aligned with company policies and applicable pawnshop regulations.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal controls, audit, compliance, fraud management, or financial operations.
Preferably with experience in pawnshop, lending, financing, banking, or other financial services.
Experience in branch operations, operational risk, fraud investigation, and internal controls is an advantage.
Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge of risk assessment and control processes.
Strong report writing and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Willing to conduct branch visits and operational reviews when required.
