Job summary

EPS in Makati, Philippines, seeks a Senior Finance Leader to proactively oversee accounting for the portfolio of companies. You will streamline processes, supervise financial statements, and coordinate budgets and forecasts to align with strategic goals.

You will implement strong internal controls, perform in-depth financial analysis, and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity. You will ensure timely tax filings and support audits and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience in the retail sector.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Chinese is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively lead all accounting processes across the portfolio of companies
• Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Collaborate with management to develop budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
• Implement and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard company assets, including inventory, cash, fixed assets, and other critical assets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to provide insights for decision-making and strategic planning
• Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize liquidity and working capital
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of all tax-related documents and payments
• Collaborate with other departments, including HR and operations, to provide financial guidance and support
• Ensure accurate financial reporting is available by deadlines
• Handle and manage daily finance-related matters from various departments
• Review VAT and WHT calculations and filings
• Review CIT filings and other statutory submissions
• Review monthly PIT calculations, annualization, and related filings
• Oversee document compliance for store openings and closings
• Conduct quarterly inventory and cash checks across stores
• Lead and manage year-end audits and coordinate with auditors
