Job summary

Shore360 in the Philippines seeks a Residential Construction Estimator to prepare precise measurements, takeoffs, and cost estimates for residential projects under the Estimating Manager. You will review plans, obtain quotations, and ensure costs align with project scope and specifications.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Architectural background with at least four years in Australian residential estimating or quantity surveying, plus Excel, Bluebeam, Acrobat, and BuilderTrend proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• At least four years of Australian residential construction estimating or quantity surveying experience (preferably high-end custom homes).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and consultant drawings.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, sequencing, and industry practices.
• Familiarity with Australian terminology, the NCC, and Standards.
• Experience with detailed quantity take-offs and trade BOQs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Experience with Bluebeam and Adobe Acrobat is required.
• BuilderTrend experience is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and document control.
• Ability to work independently and document RFIs clearly.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and specifications.
• Prepare takeoffs for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracted works.
• Identify missing or unclear items in plans.
• Coordinate project requirements with Estimating Manager.
• Maintain database of material prices and supplier rates.
• Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and contracts.
• Keep records and calculations organized.
