Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in construction estimating or quantity surveying.
• Experience with quantity take-offs, tender preparation, BOQs, and cost estimating.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
• Prepare accurate quantity take-offs and Bills of Quantities (BOQs)
• Assist with cost estimates and tender pricing
• Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Assist with tender submissions and procurement activitiesMaintain estimating registers, pricing databases, and project documentation
• Liaise with Australian Estimators and Project Managers
• Identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities
• Ensure estimates are completed accurately and within deadlines
