Job summary

InsideOut in the Philippines seeks a Construction Estimator/Takeoff Specialist to interpret residential and multi-family blueprints, perform detailed material take-offs, and manage communications with stakeholders to keep projects on track.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in construction estimating, strong reading of plans, and a solid grasp of US building practices and standards, with excellent US English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating and material take-offs.
• Advanced ability to read and interpret complex residential and multi-family drawings.
• Strong command of US building practices and construction standards.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in US English.

Responsibilities

• Blueprint Interpretation & Analysis: read architectural/structural plans for homes and apartments; identify discrepancies.
• Take-off & Quantification: perform detailed material take-offs to determine project requirements.
• Technical Documentation: draft clear RFIs to resolve ambiguities or missing details.
• Supplier Relations: manage communication with vendors and subcontractors; review price quotes.
• Building Knowledge: apply knowledge of current US building practices to estimates and communications.
