Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior Scrum Master to act as a Release Train Engineer, guiding large-scale Agile teams across complex programs. The role emphasizes alignment, transparency, and continuous improvement while partnering with product owners and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years as an RTE or Scrum Master, strong English communication, Jira expertise, and a proven track record coaching teams toward higher Scrum maturity in multinational environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Agile and Scrum practices.
• Experience as Release Train Engineer or similar role.
• Strong Jira proficiency for program-level tracking.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Serve as RTE for 17-20 teams (250-300 people).
• Facilitate PI Planning sessions.
• Raise, track, communicate and escalate risks.
• Coach teams to remove blockers and improve maturity.
• Manage backlog health with product owners and stakeholders.
• Report on metrics and ensure stakeholder alignment.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and effective meetings.
