Job summary

McKesson Compile, part of Ontada, seeks an experienced Scrum Master to lead end-to-end delivery for a single scrum team within a regulated enterprise. You will drive SAFe practices, coordinate with product, engineering, UX, QA and release management, and ensure predictable, high-quality outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in agile delivery, strong communication with senior leaders, and a proven ability to remove impediments and align priorities across teams in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent and 4+ years of relevant experience in agile delivery.
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification is preferred.
• Proven ability to manage a scrum team, dependencies, and stakeholders in fast-paced environments.
• Strong executive communication skills with Directors, VPs, and senior leaders.
• Experience enabling engineering best practices including CI/CD and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery accountability for a single scrum team, ensuring predictable, high-quality outcomes.
• Establish and operate the delivery model, including sprint cadence, backlog readiness, planning, reviews, retrospectives, and release coordination.
• Facilitate all agile ceremonies: backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews and demos, retrospectives.
• Coach the Product Owner and team to ensure clear scope, sizing, dependencies, risks, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead integration planning across product, engineering, UX, QA, and release management.
• Coordinate release readiness and manage delivery risks with transparent reporting.
