Job summary

AGAPI Technologies is looking for an experienced Agile Coach to guide teams in delivering high‑quality increments that align with the Definition of Done and to plan, implement, and enhance Scrum adoption across the organization.

You will train and coach team members, stakeholders, and managers in empirical approaches, incremental development, and lean thinking, facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and foster a culture of self‑managing, high‑performing teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional Scrum certifications such as A-CSM or PSM II are required. Additional certifications like PMP, PMI-ACP, or Agile Project Management are advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in the software industry, with solid knowledge of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
• Coaching Expertise: Proven experience in training and coaching Scrum teams and mentoring various roles, including Product Owners, Designers, Developers, Testers, and Business Analysts.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, communication, and motivational skills, with a commitment to being a servant leader and effective team player.
• Familiarity with Tools: Proficient in using common Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello.

Responsibilities

• Guide teams in delivering high-quality increments that adhere to the Definition of Done (DoD).
• Plan, implement, and enhance Scrum adoption within teams and across the organization.
• Ensure Scrum ceremonies are conducted effectively and within designated time frames.
• Provide training and coaching to team members, stakeholders, and initiatives in empirical approaches and lean thinking.
• Assume various roles as needed to support team development.
• Work with teams to improve effectiveness through maturity assessments and targeted coaching.
• Monitor progress and proactively remove obstacles hindering Sprint goals.
• Empower managers to foster self-managing, high-performing teams.
• Instruct teams on the effective use of Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Trello.
• Foster a collaborative environment and strong teamwork.
