Job description

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer (Sr. QE) with strong technical expertise in software testing, test strategy, and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Python programming, AWS and cloud technologies, automated mobile application testing, and API testing and automation. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, risk-based thinking, and the ability to design, implement, and maintain automated testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios based on system requirements and use cases.
• Perform system analysis and identify edge cases, alternative user journeys, and potential risks.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python and other relevant testing tools.
• Design, develop, and execute automated mobile application and API tests.
• Apply knowledge of AWS and cloud technologies in testing and validating cloud-based applications.
• Analyze application behavior, troubleshoot issues, and identify and document defects.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to improve software quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, frameworks, and automation solutions.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Senior Quality Engineer, Senior QA Engineer, or in a similar software testing role.
• Strong coding and programming fundamentals, particularly in Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud technologies.
• Experience in automated mobile application testing.
• Strong background in API testing and automation.
• Ability to develop structured and comprehensive test strategies.
• Strong analytical skills, including system analysis, edge-case identification, and risk-based testing.
• Ability to read, understand, and explain code and application behavior accurately.
• Experience implementing and maintaining automated testing solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
