• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related subject or equivalent work experience.
• Several years of software quality assurance experience.
• Experience in large-scale database testing or high-traffic, e-commerce sites.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Software/Product designers to determine quality assurance parameters.
• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback.
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools, and work with developers on unit testing.
• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track issues.
• Ensure thorough regression testing when issues are resolved.
• Test functionality, layout, responsiveness, and data accuracy across websites, APIs, search systems, and datasets.
• Data quality testing of search engines and databases.
• Gain a deep understanding of our websites, products, and business rules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science, Engineering, related subject or equivalent work experience
• Several years of software quality assurance experience
• Several years of experience working in large scale database testing OR high-traffic, e-commerce websites
• Hands on experience testing responsive websites on mobile and tablet devices
• Experience with testing automation tools and plugins, such as Selenium, NUnit, or Apiary
• Experience with SQL queries
• Programming experience in ASP.NET, C#, MVC, or JQuery is a huge plus
• Possess an extremely high attention to detail and quality
