Qualifications

• Excellent communication to convey defects to non-technical stakeholders.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products, systems, and software consistently meet high-quality standards, perform reliably, and remain defect-free. Operating with an automation-first mindset, you will drive quality across the entire product lifecycle—from design and production to deployment. You will be instrumental in establishing robust quality processes, integrating test suites into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to champion continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Test Automation & Execution:

• Drive Test Automation: Implement an automation-first strategy aiming for a target of 80% functional requirements automated.
• Test Case Development: Design, write, and execute both comprehensive manual and automated test cases.
• Pipeline Integration: Embed automated test suites seamlessly into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

Defect & Quality Management:

• Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, log, track, and manage software defects through to resolution.
• Process Establishment: Define and implement standardized quality assurance processes across the development lifecycle.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze test metrics and defect trends to drive systemic improvements in product reliability.
• Cross-Functional Synergy: Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and design teams from the initial design phase to final deployment.
• Shift-Left Advocacy: Engage early in the lifecycle to ensure quality standards are baked into the initial product design and requirements.

Qualifications:

Technical Skills:

• Automation Frameworks: Proven experience building or maintaining test frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
• CI/CD Tools: Familiarity with modern DevOps pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Testing Methodologies: Deep understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes (Regression, Integration, API, and UI testing).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a knack for finding edge cases and root-causing complex bugs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate technical defects to non-technical stakeholders.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
