Job summary

JPMorganChase's Consumer and Community Banking Controls team seeks a Quality Specialist to support the Directed Email Monitoring team. You will perform controls testing, document results, and recommend corrective actions to strengthen the control environment.

You will translate findings into audit-ready summaries for stakeholders, partner with business units to clarify results, and help drive process improvements and test-script enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and oral communication with stakeholders.
• Organizational and time management skills for multiple reviews to SLA.
• Risk and controls mindset; proactive and urgent.
• Collaboration with operations, controls, and compliance partners.

Responsibilities

• Execute controls testing against defined criteria across processes; document steps, evidence, and outcomes.
• Analyze results to identify root causes and risk implications; synthesize trends to inform actions.
• Draft findings with corrective actions; maintain audit-ready documentation.
• Present summaries to stakeholders; provide feedback on testing results.
• Provide feedback on process gaps; help modify test scripts as obligations evolve.
• Perform second-level reviews; handle escalations with objectivity.
• Track remediation actions to closure and verify effectiveness.
• Contribute to process improvement or automation initiatives.
