Job summary

AXIAN Group is seeking a Senior Design Engineer — Solar Energy & BESS to join the Technical & Engineering Department. The role involves leading feasibility studies, detailed design, and bankable reports for large-scale PV projects with or without BESS, ensuring grid compliance and high-quality documents for project finance.

You will size PV and storage systems, prepare technical specifications, and support BizDev and project delivery with expert input.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (5-year, Master's level) in electrical engineering, energy, or power engineering.
• Specialization in renewable energy is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in a design office or PV development role appears implied by seniority.

Responsibilities

• Carry out feasibility studies and detailed preliminary designs for PV plants from 10 to 200+ MWp, with or without BESS.
• Size PV systems and energy storage components including LV/MV cabling and topology.
• Produce bankable engineering reports ready for lender review.
• Prepare BOMs, CAPEX cost estimates and tender technical specifications.
• Coordinate with grid operators and third-party design offices to ensure compliance.

Education

Engineering degree (5-year, Master's level) in electrical engineering, energy, or power engineering

Specialization in renewable energy is a plus
