Job summary

Staffolio is seeking a dedicated Senior Property Accountant to handle complex financial reporting and property accounting tasks for Guardian Capital. The ideal candidate will be an AppFolio expert capable of managing reconciliations, reporting, and supporting the month-end close across multiple entities.

The role requires deep AppFolio expertise, strong analytical skills, and at least 3 years of experience in real estate/property management accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as Senior Accountant or equivalent in real estate/property management.
• Deep AppFolio expertise is mandatory.
• Proficient in high-level financial reporting and analytics.
• Experience with Yardi is a strong advantage.
• Strong ability to manage core property accounting workflows in AppFolio.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-level financial analyses and detailed reports for the property portfolio.
• Execute complex bank reconciliations and G/L entries in AppFolio.
• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures for multiple entities.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to ensure accuracy in financial records.
• Assist with investor reporting using platforms like AppFolio Investment Manager or Juniper Square.
