Job summary

REA.co is seeking a remote Senior Bookkeeper with substantial real estate accounting and AppFolio experience. You will be the main contact for our Clients, oversee monthly bookkeeping, and ensure accuracy across a portfolio of Clients.

The role requires 2+ years in AppFolio and real estate accounting, strong English communication, and the ability to lead client meetings while meeting monthly deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 2+ years experience with AppFolio.
• 2+ years in real estate accounting/finance.
• Ability to lead client meetings.
• Strong English verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for Clients and oversee monthly bookkeeping.
• Collaborate with Bookkeepers and the Client Success Director on the team.
• Complete bank reconciliations, AP and AR for Client portfolios.
• Answer team questions and provide client support.
• Assist with month-end close and report generation.
• Set up new properties, manage owner draws and fees.
• Hit monthly deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
