Valeris is a fully integrated life sciences commercialization partner that supports the healthcare value chain. Valeris is seeking a Senior Project Manager in the PMO to lead end-to-end management of complex U.S.

healthcare programs across operations, technology, compliance and client delivery. This highly visible role requires executive presence and the ability to build credibility with clients and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• PMP Certification (required) — certification must be current and maintained in accordance with PMI requirements.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• 8+ years of Project Management experience leading complex U.S. healthcare programs from initiation to closure
• Proven ability to lead through ambiguity — makes sound decisions with limited information, adapts quickly to evolving priorities, and brings structure where none exists
• Strong understanding of the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including payer, provider, PBM, specialty pharmacy, care management, or patient support services
• Demonstrated experience leading client-facing implementation projects
• Hands-on experience working within HIPAA-compliant environments
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in highly regulated environments
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid)

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional healthcare implementations from initiation through transition to operations and closure.
• Develop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resource plans, and critical path dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
• Establish and drive project governance by ensuring adherence to PMO methodologies, standards, and delivery best practices while promoting consistency across the portfolio.
• Facilitate project governance activities, including project kickoffs, status meetings, steering committees, executive reviews, and decision-making forums.
• Serve as the primary point of accountability for project execution, acting as the trusted liaison between clients, executive sponsors, and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with executive leadership, clients, and key stakeholders through transparent communication and proactive engagement.
• Effectively manage stakeholder expectations by anticipating needs, resolving issues, and ensuring alignment on project objectives, priorities, and delivery outcomes.
• Prepare and deliver concise, executive-level presentations, status reports, and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams across Operations, Technology, Product, Quality, Client Services, and other business functions to ensure successful project execution.
• Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and potential obstacles, implementing mitigation strategies before they impact project objectives.

About the role
