Job summary

PM Consulting seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead healthcare PMO initiatives, including system implementations and operational improvements. The role oversees end-to-end delivery, ensuring projects are on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with PMO standards.

The incumbent will coordinate cross-functional teams and vendors, manage project plans and risk registers, and report executive status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in PM, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
• 3–5 years of healthcare industry experience preferred.
• PMP certification (or equivalent) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects from initiation through completion, ensuring successful delivery against project objectives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, issue logs, and status reports.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with business leaders.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate project meetings, provide executive-level status updates, and communicate project milestones effectively.
• Ensure compliance with PMO governance, project management methodologies, and organizational standards.
• Manage vendor performance and ensure contractual deliverables are met.
• Lead project closeout activities, including documentation and lessons learned, to support continuous improvement.
• Support healthcare operations, technology implementations, and process improvement initiatives across the organization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EMR/EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, Athena, or eClinicalWorks is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Visio, and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
