Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with production support work.
5 years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining production IT services.
Strong communication across levels and teams (written and verbal).
Scripting proficiency: bash/ksh, PowerShell, Python.
Experience troubleshooting databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
Experience supporting on-premises and public cloud environments.
Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace) and alerting.
Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident/change management.

Responsibilities

Provide end-to-end application support across platforms to enable uninterrupted business operations.
Perform day-to-day production support and maintenance for stability and performance.
Monitor system health, capacity, and performance across platforms; address risks.
Triage issues and communicate with stakeholders through resolution.
Analyze trends to support incident, problem, and change management across full-stack systems.
Create and maintain runbooks and knowledge-base documentation.
Collaborate with engineering to deploy via CI/CD pipelines.
Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code where applicable.
Identify automation opportunities to reduce toil and improve resilience.
Apply service level indicators/OBJECTIVES to preempt issues before impact.
