Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience troubleshooting, resolving, and maintaining production IT services.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and teams.
• Proficiency in scripting (bash/ksh, PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks.
• Experience troubleshooting application issues involving databases (Oracle, SQL Server) and SQL scripting.
• Experience with on-premises and public cloud environments.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools (Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, Dynatrace).
• Understanding of ITIL framework and IT service management practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end application support and service delivery to enable uninterrupted business operations.
• Perform day-to-day production support and maintenance for system stability and performance.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity across platforms, preemptively addressing risks.
• Triage issues, escalate as needed, and communicate with stakeholders during resolution.
• Analyze trends to support incident, problem, change management for full-stack systems.
• Create and maintain runbooks, procedures, and knowledge-base documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering to design deployments with CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications.
• Identify operational improvements, automation opportunities, and tooling enhancements.
• Apply service level indicators and SLIs to proactively resolve issues.
• Support site reliability engineering best practices within the team.
