Job summary

Prudential plc is seeking a Product Strategy Lead to drive the commercial and strategic aspects of its product management unit. The role focuses on roadmap development, governance, and cross-functional leadership across design, pricing, marketing, and sales.

The candidate will lead annual product reviews, launch readiness, and post-launch learning to optimise portfolio performance. Strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and market insights are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in life insurance product management or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a people manager.
• Knowledgeable in life insurance products and regulations.
• Experience in managing projects end to end and collaborating with cross-functional units within a life insurance company.
• Strong skills in product proposition, business narratives, competitor research.
• Strong presentation skills and can manage clients and distributors.

Responsibilities

• Develop product strategy, roadmap, and governance with data-driven insights.
• Oversee PSC meetings, present portfolio updates and timelines.
• Prepare governance documents and business performance reports.
• Lead product development from design to launch, including pricing and marketing collaterals.
• Coordinate product launch readiness across marketing, training, and sales teams.
• Conduct post-launch reviews and gather agency/distributor feedback.

Education

Graduate of Mathematics/Actuarial Science, Finance, Business or equivalent

FLMI designation preferred
