General Responsibilities
The Senior Product Manager owns the product line, key partner relationships, and cross‑functional outcomes. This role is responsible for the platform's strategic direction, ensuring safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance while driving systemic fixes and performance through data‑driven decisions.
Platform Strategy & Backlog
- Own the product's positioning, roadmap, and prioritization, and communicate direction clearly to stakeholders.
- Own and continuously groom the product backlog, setting the delivery priorities that Scrum events execute against.
- Define the problem space and set the feature agenda that drives company goals and OKRs.
Partner Management & Commercials
- Own the relationship with embedded‑finance partner(s): serve as primary point of contact for integration support, partner with the business development team on the commercial pipeline, run periodic business reviews, and manage partner expectations and commercial commitments.
- Own the pipeline of new partner integrations (e‑wallets, banks, and other embedded‑finance partners), sequencing onboarding against commercial and engineering capacity.
- Track activation and retention of each partner's end users as the primary success metric for the line, alongside partner transaction volume and wholesale revenue contribution.
- Lead commercial and build‑vs‑buy trade‑offs per partner, including P&L framing for new partner onboarding decisions.
Delivery & Incident Response
- Own end‑to‑end delivery of partner‑facing API capabilities (fiat in/out, crypto in/out, quote/trade, KYC onboarding), including go/no‑go decisions and sequencing against partner, internal, and third‑party dependencies.
- Lead incident response for the platform: assess severity, author partner‑facing root‑cause analyses, and drive systemic fixes, distinguishing partner‑facing incidents from institutional‑desk incidents.
Compliance & Observability
- Own the product's regulatory and compliance posture. Lead the analysis of regulatory requirements, partner with legal on submissions and positions, and ensure policies are implemented throughout the product lifecycle.
- Own a partner‑facing API reliability SLA (uptime, latency, error rate) together with engineering instrumented separately from the institutional‑desk SLA, since the failure modes and user impact differ.
- Define the metrics, dashboards, and alerting for partner‑level health such as activation, retention, volume, and reliability; translate that data into roadmap and partner‑management decisions.
Qualifications
- In‑depth knowledge of access management controls across infrastructure systems, including AWS IAM and Directory Service setup.
- Substantial experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM), specifically in administering user access and enforcing the concept of least privilege.
- Proficiency in conducting regular user access reviews, ensuring compliance with audit policies, and accurately mapping IT accounts to individual identities.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities to streamline IAM processes and improve existing tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to follow, maintain, and develop process workflows while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- Experience with other AWS services (setup and maintenance) is a plus.
