Job summary

Lazada Philippines is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to own end-to-end procurement strategy for Logistics and Admin, aligning with business goals and driving efficiency. You will build strong supplier networks locally, manage the HR budget, analyze market trends, and collaborate with finance, logistics and inventory teams to forecast demand and support campaigns.

You will champion sustainability and compliance with sourcing standards and ensure health, safety, and environmental policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 8+ years in procurement or supply chain, with 3+ years in logistics/FMCG in the Philippines.
• Proven strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and category management.
• Fluency in English and Tagalog; Mandarin is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and data-driven decision making.

About the Role

The role involves leading end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for key categories of Logistics and Admin, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement strategy and execution for key categories of Logistics and Admin within Lazada Philippines, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships mostly across local markets, driving cost efficiency (through various approaches: negotiation, price comparison, supply & business optimization, etc.), quality assurance, and on-time delivery performance.
• Manage the HRO personnel budget end-to-end, including annual planning, headcount-driven forecasting, spend monitoring, variance analysis, and cost optimization to ensure workforce expenditures align with business objectives and remain within approved limits.
• Analyze market trends, pricing dynamics, and supply risks to optimize sourcing decisions and mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics, and inventory planning teams to forecast demand, manage stock levels, and support promotional (campaign) activities.
• Drive sustainability and compliance initiatives within the procurement process, ensuring adherence to Alibaba International’s ethical sourcing standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental policies throughout daily works.
• Perform as a direct person-in-contact for local procurement team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or professional procurement certification (e.g., CIPS) is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of procurement or supply chain experience, with at least 3 years in logistics, e-commerce, retail, or fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), preferably within Philippines.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and category management, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in procurement tools and ERP systems.
• Fluency in English & Tagalog; proficiency in Mandarin is advantageous. Strong cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and influence outcomes across multiple teams and geographies.
