Job summary

Manulife seeks a Senior Reporting Lead to guide a team of Reporting Analysts in designing and delivering robust Power BI solutions. You will translate business needs into scalable dashboards, ensure data lineage and quality, and govern delivery across reports and analytics workflows.

You will lead by example in agile, collaborative environments, coaching peers, managing priorities, and driving consistency in metrics and reporting standards within a hybrid work setting in Metro Manila.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in reporting, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of people leadership or workstream leadership experience, including coaching, quality review, prioritization, and resource allocation.
• Proven experience building and supporting Power BI dashboards and reports from requirements through deployment and ongoing enhancement.
• Experience managing multiple reporting requests, changing priorities, and ambiguous requirements in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced Power BI capability, including Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, data modeling, DAX, visualization, publishing, workspace management, refresh monitoring, and security concepts.
• Advanced Power Query capability, including data transformation, data cleansing, combining sources, parameters, reusable queries, and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of Power Automate, SharePoint, Microsoft Lists, and Excel integration within reporting workflows.
• Strong understanding of data quality, data lineage, KPI definitions, documentation, testing, release management, and access controls.
• Agile and adaptable, with the ability to pivot quickly when requirements, deadlines, or stakeholder priorities change.
• Excellent requirements elicitation, problem-solving, and decision-making capability.
• Clear and influential communicator who can explain technical matters in practical business language.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including expectation setting, negotiation, and constructive challenge.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Reporting Analysts to design, build, and sustain dashboards and reports.
• Own end-to-end reporting delivery across Power BI, Power Query, and Power Apps.
• Ensure data accuracy and clear data lineage with governance and documentation.
• Coach analysts and conduct design and quality reviews for reusable components.
• Partner with Finance, process owners, and technology teams to align reporting with business needs.
