Job summary

Manulife/John Hancock is seeking a Senior Data Analyst (BI Developer) to design, develop, test and deploy BI solutions. You will build dashboards and interactive reports and work with Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, QlikView/Sense, and Tableau.

You will translate business data needs into technical requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor teammates in a hybrid onsite/remote setup.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field with BI focus.
• 5+ years in hands‑on BI development, preferably with Power BI, QlikView or QlikSense.

Responsibilities

• Partner with users, product owners and data engineers to design and maintain BI solutions.
• Design and develop Canvas and Model‑Driven Apps using Dataverse/SharePoint as backend.
• Build custom connectors; model and manage data in Dataverse.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and visualizations.
• Develop and maintain BI dashboards with Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau to high quality standards.
• Apply UI/UX best practices to visuals that present clear business results.
• Provide training and establish best practices for the team; support complex projects.
• Manage user access, report connections, and troubleshoot via management consoles.
