Job summary

Broadridge in the Philippines (Makati) is seeking a Platform Site Reliability Engineer to ensure stability, scalability, and reliability of our products. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy solutions that improve uptime and performance.

As a senior member of the EP group, you will implement SRE best practices, automate operations, participate in incident response, and mentor teammates, while contributing to the strategic direction of the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting production applications (SRE/DevOps).
• Experience implementing SLOs/SLIs and monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of Windows/Linux, networking basics, and cloud platforms.
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Splunk).
• Automation using Python, shell scripting, and configuration tools (Terraform/Ansible).
• Knowledge of AWS and middleware support (databases, web servers, MQ, Kafka).
• Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Implement SRE best practices including SLOs, SLIs and monitoring.
• Build automation to improve reliability of platforms and products.
• Plan capacity and design to handle increasing load.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Participate in incident calls and post-mortems.
• Collaborate with developers to define reliability requirements.
• Drive end-to-end improvement initiatives across teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to strategy.
