Job summary

Procter & Gamble Philippines in Manila is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (Band 1) to maintain and scale production systems across digital products. You will monitor, automate, and improve reliability while defining and meeting SLOs, SLAs, and SLIs with cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities include incident management, root‑cause analysis, implementing observability, and guiding colleagues on best practices.

Qualifications

• Automation scripting skills with Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong IT operations background incl. ticketing systems and Linux/Unix.
• Familiarity with networks, databases, incident response methods.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools to improve performance.
• Knowledge of ITIL Service Management practices (SLA/SLO/SLI).
• Understanding of SDLC and modern software development patterns (DevOps).
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business language.

Responsibilities

• Incident management and monitoring to meet SLAs/SLOs/SLIs.
• Root-cause analysis and postmortems to improve stability.
• Automation and process improvements across platforms and services.
• Provide guidance to Product, Platform and Software Engineering teams.
• Infrastructure management and change control per product roadmap.
• Oversee vendor interactions and contribute to product strategy.
• Represent Operations in PoCs and pilots; ensure Day 1 readiness for Go Live.
• Drive observability, instrumentation, and knowledge sharing.
