Job summary

Ingram Micro is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to operate, optimize and support our marketplace and Xvantage platforms. You’ll ensure highly available, scalable and secure operations while coordinating with Product, Engineering and Support teams to drive improvements.

The role is hands-on, focusing on automation, troubleshooting and deployment support across APAC/EMEA shifts in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in platform operations, SaaS operations, or equivalent technical environment.
• Proficient in Python or scripting; REST APIs; SQL; production troubleshooting.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and platform components (Kubernetes, multiple cloud providers).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor platform components to ensure stability and readiness.
• Support deployments and validate changes for production readiness.
• Investigate and resolve complex platform issues across API, data, and configuration domains.
• Develop automation tools and runbooks to reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to improve features and ops.
