Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Manager, People Services North America to lead HR operations across multiple countries, directing a team of Team Leads, Senior People Services Advisors, People Services Advisors and Talent Acquisition Coordinators.

You will drive delivery of customer-focused HR processes, manage SLAs and KPIs, lead process improvements including automation, and partner with regional stakeholders to align with global standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree holder
• > 5 years of experience working in HR operations with at least 4 years as a People Manager
• Excellent understanding of HR issues, processes and procedures
• Experience with HR Services, including workflows / processes, hire to retire
• Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally working to SLAs
• Experience of managing a team and ability to demonstrate achievement of performance and efficiency benefits through coaching and people development
• Experience of delivering excellent employee engagement across a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to balance demands and priorities
• Strong customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR services delivery across the region to ensure consistent, high-quality results
• Lead a customer-focused administrative/transactional function that meets SLAs and KPIs
• Collaborate with other People Services leaders to improve the shared service team
• Manage logged cases and ensure work meets required standards
• Provide input to HR teams for updates to products and systems
• Maintain confidential records and generate written communications and reports
• Develop, maintain and improve processes, systems, and metrics for the broader People community
• Partner with HR stakeholders to standardize processes across the region and comply with local laws
• Build strong relationships with internal customers and handle escalated queries promptly
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a specialized team and plan for succession
• Foster a culture that inspires and empowers the team
• Handle difficult conversations related to PIPs or business initiatives affecting local teams
• Continuously improve workplace systems and performance
• Review and align standard operating procedures and playbooks
• Uphold Cushman & Wakefield values and comply with policies
• Work safely and adhere to health and safety obligations
• Participate in community groups to share insights and best practices
• Represent Cushman & Wakefield brand and services to clients and staff
