Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Payroll & People Operations professional to own end-to-end payroll processing and support employee lifecycle activities. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely salary payments and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 6–8 years of payroll experience, hands-on processing, and the ability to guide a small team.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of payroll experience.
• Has personally processed payroll within the last 12 months.
• Hands-on, not purely managerial.
• Can manage payroll operations with minimal supervision.
• Open to learning and supporting cross-border mobility matters.
• Experience guiding or leading at least 1 person.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end monthly payroll with timely salary payments and controls.
• Coordinate payroll activities within the People Operations team.
• Manage external payroll vendors and monitor performance.
• Handle CPF, year-end tax reporting, statutory submissions, and government leaves.
• Support payroll for international assignments and mobility arrangements.
• Support payroll audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls.
• Review and improve payroll processes, SOPs, and tests.
• Respond to employee payroll, tax and deduction inquiries.
• Assist employee lifecycle administration and movements.
