We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to support Global Payroll Operations, handling payroll processes for employees in the US or UK.
The role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, reconciliations, statutory compliance, employee data changes, and coordination with internal teams and payroll vendors.
Manage end-to-end payroll processes for US or UK employees.
Perform pre- and post-payroll data reconciliations and ensure payroll accuracy.
Review payroll reports, reconciliations, and related activities to maintain data integrity.
Process salary changes, promotions, and job changes for exempt and non-exempt employees.
Prepare statutory reports and tax statements.
Coordinate with payroll vendors and service providers on payroll issues, system updates, and process improvements.
Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable tax laws, labor regulations, and statutory requirements.
Support payroll audits, internal controls, and compliance activities.
Work closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and other global stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, efficiency, and automation.
Create and maintain process documentation and process maps.
Bachelor's degree or higher; any course/major.
1–5 years of relevant payroll experience.
Proven experience in US or UK Payroll Operations is required.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and employee lifecycle activities.
Experience with payroll reconciliation and payroll reporting.
Knowledge of HR systems, automation, and ticketing tools.
Knowledge of Oracle and MS Office is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with confidential employee information.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work effectively in a dynamic and global environment.
Willing to handle time-bound projects and deadlines.
Experience working with global payroll teams or shared services.
Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax, and statutory requirements.
Experience in process improvement or automation.
Project Management or Lean/Six Sigma certification is an advantage.
