Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to manage high-volume, accurate payroll data entry and fortnightly payroll processing for Australia and New Zealand. You will review timesheet exceptions, enter leave and deductions, and maintain digital records per SOP.

You will triage payroll queries, support reconciliations and standard reporting, and contribute to compliance and process improvements in a fast-paced outsourcing environment.

Qualifications

• Australian payroll experience strongly preferred.
• NZ experience an advantage but not required.
• Dayforce experience preferred but not required.
• If no Dayforce experience, PayGlobal, SAP, Chris21, UKG, Workday are acceptable.
• MicroPay and HR3 may be ok but usually correlate to low volume experience.

Responsibilities

• High-volume, accurate payroll data entry and transactional processing for fortnightly payrolls (Australia and New Zealand).
• Chase and validate timesheet and roster exceptions in payroll system.
• Enter leave, deductions and entitlement updates against configured rules.
• Maintain payroll records and documentation digitally per company SOP.
