Job summary

Acquire Intelligence is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to support fortnightly Australia and New Zealand payroll processing. You will handle high-volume data entry, validate timesheets, and maintain digital payroll records in line with SOPs.

The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and experience with payroll systems (Dayforce preferred). The team emphasizes collaboration and internal growth opportunities within a global outsourcer.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume payroll processing for Australian and New Zealand payrolls.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with payroll systems (Dayforce preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Teams) and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-volume, accurate data entry for payroll changes, new hires, and terminations.
• Validate timesheets and rosters; process leaves and deductions per configured rules.
• Maintain payroll records digitally in line with SOPs.
• Triage tier-1 queries, manage payroll inbox, and escalate as needed.
• Support reconciliations and standard payroll reporting.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and contribute to continuous process improvements.
