Job summary

JPMorganChase in the Philippines is seeking a Payments Operations Analyst to strengthen daily operations, improve controls, and support new digital payment capabilities as they grow. You will analyze operational requirements, reconcile settlements, monitor transactions, and collaborate across teams to scale the operating model and deliver data-driven insights.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while upholding procedures

Qualifications

• Experience in payments operations or a related role.
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for large dataset analysis.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and drive process improvements.
• Ability to adapt to fast-changing priorities.
• Knowledge of payment lifecycle operations: reconciliation, monitoring, controls.
• Attention to detail and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operational requirements for completeness, consistency, and clarity and align to operations standards.
• Post-settlement reconciliation activities and investigate breaks to resolution.
• Monitor transactions end-to-end and detect anomalies per procedures and controls.
• Define operational requirements for payment scheme support with stakeholders.
• Scale operating model as new payment rails and client needs expand.
• Build SME in product flows, processes, and application behavior to manage changes.
• Coordinate with product, monitoring, incident management, project management, and tech teams to manage dependencies.
• Produce and maintain operational reporting, KPIs, and data-driven insights.
• Identify process gaps and support workflow improvements and stronger controls.
